I was totally skeptical to try the cat food provided as we have had our cat Oscar on a strict brand/variety specific diet for years but he seemed really happy about the change. It's been a little while now and it seems to be working out just fine. I'm still waiting to see if he has any issues with digestion though... I'm not convinced yet!

This feels a bit like the universe conspiring with me (this time) because my Doctor advised me just 2 days ago to start taking Reactine or Claritin to help me with my sinuses.

Ipsy August 2013 Unboxing

I received my Ipsy Glam Bag on the 9th of August. Very early this month! There's been a lot of buzz about the Urban Decay lipstick and I was anxious to see if I was a lucky recipient.

I indicated I didn't want any lipsticks in my survey but am still a little disappointed I didn't get the Urban Decay lipstick this month. It does mean though they the Ipsy survey does influence the products one receives which is good to know.

The Noya Lip Balm is nice. It's made of all- natural ingredients and the texture is surprisingly nice. I also found it didn't wear off quickly. 

The Pacifica Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream isn't my favourite. It has sparkles in it and my oily skin was super oily during the day. Very unpleasant. 

The NYX Cream Blush in Golden is a perfect shade for me! I'm thrilled with this product!

The Pixi Lash Booster Mascara isn't thrilling. I found it to be difficult to apply and flakey. 

I haven't had a chance to try the Michael Todd Jojoba Charcoal Scrub yet but I have high hopes! <edit>... not disappointed at all! The scrub is gentle yet effective and I could see and feel a difference on my skin. I don't know why the colour surprised me but it did... it was a little alarming to smear black all over my face :)

Overall, happy with my box this month. The bag is super cute too! Perfect for packing my makeup for an overnight trip!
